Cacoo’s Education plan pricing is changing
We know Cacoo is a great tool in the classroom, and we want to do our part to support a better tomorrow. That’s why for years we’ve offered students and teachers a free version of our Cacoo software, first through our Academic Plan and then through our Education Plan.
The popularity of our Education Plan has been inspiring. And we want to keep offering students and teachers a discount for using our software. However, we will no longer be offering our Education Plan for free. Instead, Cacoo’s Education Plan will offer the same features and capabilities as our Team Plan, but for half the price.
What is Cacoo’s Education Plan?
It’s a discounted plan for students, teachers, and educators with the same premium features of Cacoo’s Team Plan. With enhanced security, administrative control, group sharing, and access permissions, qualified users can use this plan to create, share, and edit diagrams together in real-time.
Our Education & Team Plans include:
- Unlimited diagrams
- Unlimited diagram sharing
- Full access to integrations
- SVG import and export
- Visio file import
- Revision history
- Team management
- Sharing and publishing control
- Priority email support
What does it cost?
Total cost will depend on the number of users educators want to register for their discounted plan. Prices are listed compared to our Team Plan in the following chart:

What about existing subscribers?
If you’re currently on our free Education Plan, you have a year from today to continue enjoying your plan, but you will need to either subscribe to a discounted Education Plan or choose another one of our Cacoo plans—such as our Plus Plan or Free Plan—by December 18th, 2018.
If you do not wish to subscribe to our new discounted plan, you will be able to transfer your diagrams from your Education Plan to a Free or Plus Plan.
Starting December 19th, 2018, you will no longer be able to access your Education Plan without subscribing to our new plan or migrating your diagrams to a different plan.
How do I apply?!
For anyone wishing to apply for a discounted Education Plan, please fill out an online form with your name, email address, and school name. Our support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
We would like to sincerely apologize to any current Education Plan users whose work may feel disrupted by this price change. We want to continue to provide educators access to our software at a price they can afford.
